Managing Director: Vince Garvin

Vince Garvin is the Managing Director and founder of Affinity. Vince hosts the Affinity property workshops and shows you how to successfully build a property portfolio.

A born entrepreneur, Vince was a co-founder of Orchard Home Improvement PLC, which focused on selling financial products to enable people to easily improve their homes. Vince also worked very closely with First National Bank selling financial products to homeowners. The company expanded quickly, employing over 350 staff in 14 branches nationwide. In 1999 Vince sold his share of the company and started Affinity Mortgage and Loan. In 2002 Vince started speaking at property seminars, and in January 2003 he created Affinity Property Seminars Limited and Club Affinity.

Vince learned the lessons of property ownership early in life. He bought his first house at the age of 18 for £9000 and sold it after three years, making a 100 percent profit on his initial investment. Vince bought his second home £12,500 and sold it just one year later, this time more than doubling his investment. But when Vince was 24 he had a change of heart. He saw that his first house was on the market again, this time for £36,000. The house had doubled in value thanks to Vince's time and effort, and now it has doubled in value again. Vince started to think - why sell? He saw that as long as you own property you will always have money - or access to it.

With his varied background, which encompasses experience as a carpenter, joiner, property developer and entrepreneur, Vince knew that he had the know-how, business contacts and people skills to show people how they too could make money through property ownership. He looked at what else was going on in the industry and decided there was a need for someone to give people reliable and trustworthy information about property ownership. His workshops and guidance have since changed lives.
